De Palm Watersport- Watersport Supervisor

De Palm Tours is looking for a hands-on and service-driven Garage Supervisor to support our Watersports Operations. In this exciting role, you will lead and motivate the crew, help coordinate daily activities, and contribute directly to the safety and enjoyment of our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Manager Watersports with daily operations.

• Supervise the crew and ensure everyone reports to their workstation on time.

• Build strong communication between crew members, captains, and management.

• Create a professional, welcoming, and fun atmosphere for guests and colleagues.

• Help ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on the pier and aboard our vessels.

• Conduct regular head counts and support safe check-in and boarding procedures.

• Ensure operations comply with company safety standards, Port Authority regulations, and international maritime rules.

• Report safety concerns and mechanical issues involving the Palm Pleasure vessels.

• Assist with storeroom control and the daily inventory supplied to vessels.

• Help protect and secure vessels during and after scheduled tours.

• Provide support during incidents and ensure they are reported correctly.

• Provide First Aid or CPR assistance when necessary.

• Adapt to changing schedules, including private charters.

Requirement:

• Minimum EPI-level education or equivalent.

• At least two years of supervisory experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent people skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

• A positive, flexible, and hands-on attitude.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.

• Dutch is considered an advantage.

• Sailing and snorkel-instruction experience are considered strong advantages.

• A Kleinvaarbewijs is a plus.
