Field Worker

On behalf of our client, Aruba Wastewater Sustainable Solutions (AWSS) is looking for a hands-on and reliable Field Worker to support the maintenance, installation, repair, and daily operation of sewer infrastructure and related equipment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating heavy equipment and machinery, performing basic mechanical and fabrication work, and responding to operational needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Worker, you will:

• Execute scheduled maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs of sewer lines and related equipment.
  
• Support the installation of new sewer lines, upgrades, and expansions.
  
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, including Bobcats, excavators, jackhammers, and similar equipment.
  
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, generators, and operational equipment.
  
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication work.
  
• Follow all applicable safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
  
• Assist with other field and operational activities as required.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• LBO education or equivalent vocational training and/or practical experience in maintenance, construction, utilities, mechanical work, or industrial field operations.
  
• Valid Aruba Driver's License.
  
• Valid Truck Driver's License – .
  
• Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery.
  
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather and working conditions.
  
• Availability to work occasional night shifts and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
  
• Practical, hands-on approach to work.
  
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions.
