Calloway Corporation is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 22 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled, and highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Storeroom Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to support our Catering and all other entities.

As the Storeroom Assistant you will be responsible to facilitate the accurate receipt of inventory in the Storeroom in compliance with company policy.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • To deliver products to the production cooler and final holding box, following the amounts and directions written in the requisitions given by the Production Department, observing also the KRT.
  • To allocate products delivery following a Kanban system, making sure products are left organized and properly placed in the production cooler and final holding box, based on visual signs directed by FIFO and Lean Manufacturing.
  • To monitor temperatures of the different coolers and freezers in stores area following HACCP standards.
  • To make requisition of hot meals adhering to HACCP standards to properly execute the defrosting procedure.
  • To keep coolers and freezers and stores’ open areas clean and always organized.
  • Ability to lift 50 lb. weights as needed for the position.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer literacy - ability to use software tools and packages approved by the company.
  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Excellent arithmetic and comprehension skills.
  • Driver License.
  • Team player.
